Our
Chesapeake Retreat has been used as a retreat haven for many
diverse groups, including bird watchers, wildlife enthusiasts,
photography buffs, kayak clubs and fishermen. We can easily
and comfortably accomodate your group -- up to 34. Someone
in the group not up to any activities? They can just sit back,
relax and soak in the beautiful scenery our Chesapeake waterfront
provides.

Our 700 acre picturesque farm in the heart of Chesapeake
Bay's Eastern Shore abounds in wildlife and amazing vistas
that will surely please any photo club. Your camera lens
will love our 360 degree view of the bay and you can use
the many tree perches to catch animals in their natural
habitat. |

Kayak/Canoe
Tours
Our Chesapeake retreat is perfect for your next kayak
or canoe tour. Our estate has its own boat ramp &
harbor with direct access to the bay. Are you up to a
12 mile tour? Kayak south to the quaint Fishing Creek
and continue inland to another Ransome property where
you can camp out or continue on through the wildlife enriched
estuary. |
